During his 25-year career with STERIMED, Christophe SIMON has worked in a variety of technical and management roles, including product, process and application development, as well as market development and operations & business management. In his current role, he is responsible for all the technical and scientific aspects of STERIMED covering regulatory affairs, technical support, and R&D management. His background is chemistry (graduated engineer from the EPCM high school - University of Strasbourg). Christophe SIMON represents STERIMED on the Sterile Barrier Association (SBA) & on ASTM F02 Committee “Flexible Barrier Packaging”. He is also a member of the technical committees ISO TC198/WG7 “Sterilization of health care products”, CEN TC102/WG4 “Packaging materials” & AFNOR SR95 / GT1 "sterilization Packaging materials”.

Dominique BERNIER has been supporting packaging qualification of medical device manufacturers for more than 10 years, in Europe & Asia markets. His business scope ranges from lab testing evaluation of different types of packaging materials to runnabilility and DOE analysis on form fill seal packaging line, as well as qualification trials within medical device manufacturer facilities and subcontracting companies. Among the latest projects led by his team: flow wrap packaging, new material qualifications for drapes and gowns packaging, packaging development for high speed rotary seal technology, and packaging machine lease implementation with customers.

His technical knowledge (Engineering background), his contacts with the various and different healthcare actors allowed him to share the different practices that he met and saw all over the world through trainees and conferences.
